[En] As one can read on discworld news, Terry Pratchett was diagnozed with an early form Azheimer’s. Being a fan of his books (not only DiscWorld series), I didn’t enjoy that information. I am naturally very sorry about that, I hope this disease to progress as slow as possible – not only because of – naturally – feeling sorry for him, but because of somehow selfish attitude – I wish I could read Terry’s book as long as possible.

But even in such serious moment of his life (we can only guess how difficult it is for him), Terry didn’t loose his brillant sense of humour:

PS:  I would just like to draw attention to everyone reading the above that this should
be interpreted as ‘I am not dead’. I will, of course, be dead at some future point, as
will everybody else.

I especially enjoyed „I am not dead”, which should be familiar to those of you, who were lucky to read books from the DiscWorld series.

[pl] Jak można przeczytać w serwisie discworld news, u Terry Pratchetta zdiagnozowano wczesnÄ… formÄ™ choroby Alzheimera. Jako, że jestem fanem jego twórczoÅ›ci (nie tylko serii Åšwiata Dysku, którÄ… w wiÄ™kszoÅ›ci zdążyÅ‚em już „poÅ‚knąć”, ale także np. serii o Nomach), informacja ta wywoÅ‚aÅ‚a we mnie pewien smutek. OczywiÅ›cie jest mi bardzo z tego powodu przykro, oczywiÅ›cie bardzo bym chciaÅ‚, by choroba postÄ™powaÅ‚a jak najwolniej – i to nie tyle co z naturalnego ludzkiego odruchu współczucia, ale z czysto egoistycznego podejÅ›cia – chciaÅ‚bym jak najdÅ‚użej móc czytać ksiÄ…ki Terry’ego.

Nawet w tak poważnej sytuacji (mogę tylko zgadywać jak bardzo  to przeżywa), Terry nie  stracił swojego genialnego poczucia humoru:
